Plants are officially in the ground at the Trager MicroForest site! Last Saturday, we got our first shipment of trees delivered to Founder’s Square. 27 were delivered and 22 were put into the ground. There will be 113 new trees on the site, so there are 91 left to plant. In addition, there will be a significant amount of smaller plants and shrubs planted later on.
Tree planting was not the only thing going on at the microforest last week. Before the trees went in, truckloads of soil were added behind the central retaining wall. Full Care staff also marked the spots where the remaining 91 trees will be planted within the site.
We are hoping to get more trees delivered and planted as soon as possible, but rainy weather might make the site too muddy for planting this week.
