Over the past weekend we helped install weather station sensors with Dr. Scott Gunter of the University of Louisville's Department of Geographic and Environmental Science in the Trager MicroForest Project at Founders Square. While the framework design and study plans are under development we are starting to collect baseline data to allow us the opportunity to measure improvements made through intense urban greening.
The UofL Envirome Institute's Urban Design Studio is focused on making downtown Louisville more healthy, comfortable and beautiful through the design of the city. Much more to come!
