Many cities across the country are promoting the creation of new housing along their transit corridors, to utilize existing infrastructure, maximize efficiency, and encourage vibrant urban neighborhoods.

How can Louisville embrace this strategy and increase housing along our existing transit and transportation corridors? What does the future of transit-oriented development look like in Louisville? What barriers are preventing this type of development today, and how can we change our regulations and policies to encourage housing on our corridors?

Join us and Louisville Metro staff for the next Open Studio at the UofL Urban Design Studio at 11 am on Wednesday, July 24th as we explore these questions with experts on the topic.

Open Studio events are free and open to the public, however seating is limited to 17 people to facilitate open and constructive dialog in a conversational setting. Due to limited seating, RSVP with Patrick Piuma via email at your earliest convenience as seats tend to fill up quickly.
