The grass is always greener at the Trager MicroForest! Last week, Full Care dispersed a seed mix across the TMFP site to establish some basic greenery as we wait for fall’s tree planting to arrive. The seeds have already established themselves and began sprouting over the weekend. The seed mix was able to sprout so quickly as the irrigation system is now fully functional, and is watering the site multiple times a day.
Most of the essential infrastructure for the MicroForest is now complete. The only remaining infrastructure is the new lighting system, which should be delivered in the next week or two. Beyond that, most of the work won’t change the site radically until the tree planting. It will mostly be amendments to the soil, touch-ups on existing infrastructure, new signage, etc.
