The Corner Store Mapping Project has migrated to the ArcGIS Online platform. All points from the previous map are on there along with some additional information and interactivity, feel free to click around!
The project is still active and will be receiving updates with new corner stores and new information on ones that are currently mapped. The goal is to develop more information on the buildings themselves such as dates of construction and ownership history. We would also like to know more about current uses, redevelopment efforts and other information to add more depth to the story of these community assets and the role they can or are playing in building local community in the neighborhoods they reside.
