The next Society of Urban Perambulators will be on May 15th. Join us for a guided walking loop around the south central part of Downtown Louisville with our field guides, the Vital Sites team. This event will give us an opportunity to see some of our historic buildings that are being reimagined and reused, breathing new life into the heart of the city.
We will meet at the historic Brennan House (631 S 5th St, Louisville, KY 40202) at 10:45 am. We will begin the stroll at 11 am. Our loop will take us to Broadway, 6th Street, Muhammad Ali Blvd, 3rd Street, Chestnut Street, and finally back to 5th Street.
There are a lot of sites to see and hear about along the way, as well as interesting building details and views most people don't see driving by in a car. Looking forward to seeing everyone and taking a fresh look at downtown.
If you like to walk, see and talk about neighborhoods and cities, and want to join us that Saturday you can RSVP on our partner Vital Sites event page, or for future strolls, email Patrick Piuma or join our Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/thesocietyofurbanperambulators/.
The events are open to all but in order to keep walking group sizes manageable and maintain safe physical distancing we need to know how many people plan to join us.
