Beargrass Preserve is a planned addition to Cherokee Park. The 25-acre site is located on the north side of Beargrass Creek and just south of Louisville Seminary. The preserve will be the new home of the Olmsted Parks Conservancy while also going through extensive reforestation efforts, creation of new nature trails, and construction of new public spaces.
