The following reports consist of current and past research and analysis projects conducted at the Urban Design Studio for a variety of organizations and purposes. As the reports are completed they will be added to the list.

Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Transit-Oriented Design Site Study

With a possible BRT route along Dixie Highway, we are looking at the route and proposing design alternatives for a stop along the route with related research of other city's best practices.

Land Development Code Guide Book

We are currently working with Metro Planning & Design on a visual guidebook which will illustrate different components of the Land Development Code focusing on the differences between Form Districts.

Variances Study

In order to help identify patterns in variance requests for Louisville Metro, we have looked at the types of variances spatially and produced a preliminary visualization tool to get a snapshot of where different variances occur. This project is ongoing

SoBro Neighborhood Design Report

This project is complete and the report is being compiled.

The Vanishing Bluegrass Design Report and Installation

This project is complete and the report is being compiled.

Vogt Commons Study

This study was done at the Urban Design Studio in the early days and is being compiled at the moment and hopefully we will have the full study at some point in the near future.
